HP 805 Series will be shipped with AMD’s new Ryzen Pro 4000 processors

While HP’s quarterly results were mixed, the manufacturer was able to rely on its laptop business, which continues to deliver stable performance. The American giant took advantage of the publication of these results to present the future products of its Elitebook range.

An update that includes a mix of new models and redesigned editions of existing systems. This is how Elitebook x360 1030 G7 convertible laptops of 13,3 inches and 1040 G7 14 inches should be the subject of a nice facelift via a slight size reduction resulting in a screen/body ratio of up to 89%. Other updates are the use of Intel Core vPro processors with six cores of 10th generation and a up to 29 hours of battery life for the 1040 G7, according to HP.

The new x360 830 G7 adds to the 1030 G7 and 1040 G7, a more affordable 13.3-inch alternative that uses Intel’s six-core processors only in high-end configurations, but stands out for the inclusion of 4x4 LTE antennas, that HP hails as the first for a company convertible "general public". It will soon be joined by the future Elitebook 800 G7 and 805 G7 laptops, which add a 15.6-inch option to 13.3 and 14-inch fitness factors.

5G compatibility

The 805 Series will be shipped with AMD’s new Ryzen Pro 4000 processors, with the 835 G7 having a 24-hour battery life when configured with a Ryzen R7-4750U processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD, while the 800 Series stays with Intel inside, and the 830 G7 is almost 835 with a battery life of 23 hours and 15 minutes when configured with a Core i5-10210U processor.

All new Elitebooks have remote working features like 5G LTE or 4G Gigabit Class connectivity for mobile work, as well as webcams with wide-angle views and built-in audio technology that uses artificial intelligence to help limit annoying background noise from your Zoom sessions. The Elitebook 830 G7, 840 G7 and 850 G7 will be delivered from next month while the versions equipped with AMD (the 835 G7, 845 G7 and 855 G7) will be available only in August at a price that has not yet been announced. Finally, the Elitebook x360 should be delivered in July.

As a reminder, HP has launched the professional Elite Dragonfly laptop - as light as its name suggests - and it is in line with products that look like winged insects, with the new Zbook Firefly G7 mobile workstations.
